About the artists:

Mariana Chami is an Argentine poet. She majored in Art & Literature at UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires), and studied poetry & children's literature independently with renowned poets Diana Bellessi &Andi Nachon. Mariana's poetry books include: Territorio del Cuerpo (Tierra Firme, 2001); Antes de Mi (Nusud, 2004); El Amor es Esto (Ediciones del Dock 2011)..

Fernanda Cohen was born and raised in Buenos Aires, and moved to New York in 2000 to study illustration at the School of Visual Arts, where she currently teaches. She works mostly in advertising & fashion, as well as editorial, murals, apparel & publishing. Some of her clients include Coca Cola, Sex and the City, The New Yorker, The New York Times, MTV, Carolina Herrera, The Gap, Time, Target, BBDO, DDB, Ikram, Scholastic, Macy's, and Tiffany & Co. She has received over 100 awards worldwide. Fernanda also runs a lecture series at the Society of Illustrators of New York. She's a columnist for American Illustration's Dart and 90+10 magazine, an advisor to 3x3 magazine, and teaches at Universidad de Palermo and she was the vice- president of ICON6.
